The new dashboard for realwear navigator 500 is here. With this release we’re making it easier than ever to get your in-depth business insights and manage your company’s books. So much so that we’ve rebranded the app from ‘Real Wear’ to ‘Real Books’, as well as renaming the deck from Navigator to Real Books. The new features—and the new name—aren’t just about aesthetics either. We’ve invested a lot of time and energy into how we streamline the user experience and create more value for all our customers, not just those who are already familiar with how things work under the hood. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Real Books
The new name is a nod to the rich set of insights you can derive from your accounting data, which we’re realigning to be known as your “books.” We’ve rebranded the deck from Navigator to Real Books, and given it its own icon to distinguish it from the rest of the app. The new dashboard is designed to be more intuitive and make it easier to get the information you need from your books. We’ve added a new sidebar to the left with an overview of your company’s most important stats. We’ve also added a new menu on the bottom right that lets you quickly create new accounts, transactions, and invoices.
More insight for your business
In order to help you derive more value from your accounting data, we’re rethinking how you view the books. We’re redesigning how you view your books in the app, and introducing a new format that makes it easy to see key stat trends and breakdowns of what happened on any given day. We’re also bringing the power of bar graphs and line graphs to the table, so you can quickly spot patterns and compare different financial periods. We’re also adding additional filters like custom date ranges and sorting by another set of stats.
A new and improved dashboard
The first thing you’ll notice in the app is a new and improved dashboard. We’ve redesigned this to be more intuitive and easier to navigate, and to display your real books with a more visually appealing layout. We’ve also added a new menu on the bottom right that lets you create new accounts, transactions, and invoices. And with the new dashboard, we’re also bringing the power of bar graphs and line graphs to the table, so you can quickly spot patterns and compare different financial periods.
Data is king
We know that you care about your books and want to get the most value from your accounting data. To do that, we’ve expanded the number of charts you can have open in the app. We’re now letting you have up to four charts open at any given time, in addition to the charts you’ve come to know and love within the app. This means that no matter what task you’re working on in the app, you can quickly see key stats.
Get to know your data ecosystem
To give you an even better insight into how your business is faring, we’re introducing a new section in the dashboard called “Ecosystem Overview.” This will help you get to know your accounting ecosystem and see where your data comes from and where it’s going. You can use it to get an overview of your accounting data, sort your data with filters, and dive into the details of your data.
Dig deeper with Real Intelligence
To help you get the most out of your data, we’re introducing Real Intelligence. Real Intelligence will help you to understand what each key stat means, and what it means when it changes or trends over time. With this new feature, you can dive into the details of your data by filtering by and customizing the metrics you care about most. You can also set alerts to notify you if certain stats are approaching an important threshold, or trend in a certain way.
Stay on top of everything with Real Alerts
Real Alerts let you set up a schedule for when certain stats should be updated in the app. This is a great way to automate the process of keeping your books up to date, and staying organized with your accounting data. You can also create a schedule so that data is updated every night, or when you’re not working on computers.
